Gifts For SpongeBob's 10th Birthday


Like some other beloved child, Nickelodeon is throwing a huge birthday party for the tenth year anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants. It was in July 1999 when the popular seafaring sponge/kitchen sponge overzealous and dense humor character started winning the whist of many children and adults. If you have been mass this exhibit for a long time already, then you could be so kind as to provide SpongeBob a gift.

So what should SpongeBob need? Actually, there is not much, because he seems to derive satisfaction from some situation. But because we have known him throughout the years, here are a some suggestions to kick start the gift-giving fest.

Wardrobe. Spongebob SquarePants became a character licensing icon finished his trademark wardrobe of a white shirt combined with brown conservativist trousers and a tie. While we can't go on changing the conservativist trousers and the white shirt as the crisp look, we should try and offer variations to the look of SpongeBob with some nice necktie or even a colorful bowtie just for fun. With the huge nous of SpongeBob, this wardrobe accessories won't get detected easily anyway.

More Wall Frames. SpongeBob has been a sterling employee under Mr. Krabs' Krabbie Patties and the restaurant branch has become known as a premiere dining place in all of Bikini Bottom. Because of this, SpongeBob almost always get the Employee of the Month Award - usually edging out his sensitive neighbor Squidward in the process. SpongeBob should only have so many surround frames inside his home so provide him a helping hand and provide more frames for his awards.

Cookbook. Let's provide SpongeBob a break from the usual routine of cooking hamburgers. Give the man other ideas for kitchen work. Pet food recipes for his snail (with an identity crisis as a cat) would be a good place to start.

Guide to Jelly Fishing. This is digit of the finer forms of leisure and recreation of SpongeBob and his friends. Since the hobby has a similar form to bird watching or getting a butterflies, make some advice from these two hobbies and assemble it for SpongeBob.

Social Networking Accounts. Of course the creators or handlers of SpongeBob would have done everything to secure the copyright to these kinds of things, but if SpongeBob really existed, then he wouldn't mind being introduced to these social networking trend because he is overly friendly with people.

Pineapple Home Maintenance. If you're living in a pineapple under the sea, it should get a bit hard to maintain especially if you are SpongeBob who is continually out on adventures. So even if the humor animation does not respect the laws of physics that much (for example, the presence of lakes underwater, tears flowing and water pouring), you should do SpongeBob a souvenir and help maintain and beautify SpongeBob's pineapple home. I don't know how it should be done but it's the thought that counts.

Log Book for Writers. If you are so hard-pressed to suspend your uncertainty while watching SpongeBob or even by thinking of virtual gifts for his birthday, then you are very welcome to just be obsessive-compulsive about it and jot down all the inconsistencies, discontinuities and outrageousness you should cite and send them to the writers. I think it will amount to a logbook - because the premise of SpongeBob has always been about ridiculous stories without much regard for realism. Beware though, you may be taking absent from the gist of the show.

But the best gift you should provide is continuous hold for the exhibit - and that involves more interaction finished fan mails and the likes. If you think that the quality of the exhibit has dipped throughout the years, let your voice heard. The important thing is you care.
